My name is Jopi, yes Im new here...

Well I read that HD 3850 is suported and I had one in storige and wanted to see how much faster the WUs go with it...

so I installed it, updated the driver.. the basic stuff

Is there something I should do to Bionic to make it work as they say on the boards cos now I realy dont see eny chance from before ?

It looks like your version of BOINC should work and your computer has downloaded some tasks so everything is working on that end. You probably need to make sure you don't have GPU use suspended in the client; under Activity > Use GPU always or based on preferences and than in Advanced > Preferences you have "Use GPU while computer is in use" checked.

I have to use Catalyst 10.3 for my 3850 to be recognised properly - mind you I haven't tried a later release recently.

Now it works :)

I guess it just needed some time to setle in :)))

Pritty good from 6-12h per Wu to 15 minutes per Wu :)

Yes, sometimes a long time.
One of our members had to detach/reattach to mw 3 times the other day before a hardware change would be recognised.
