I keep getting the message Milkyway@home Message from server: Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a version of MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation.

I have not seen this message.
Do not do the following until other people chime in, but I suggest resetting the project in the BOINC manager. And you might get a quicker answer in the Number Crunching forum.

I think this happens when the scheduler wants to send N-body workunits, but your app_info.xml only has separation applications so it doesn't send them.

Yes this message is sent when the server has run out of separation tasks but still has N-Body tasks to send. It often indicates the first stage of a server outage. The message is sent to computers that process separation tasks on the CPU or GPU and use an app_info.xml file.

So for those who have not configured their computer to receive N-Body tasks it effectively means "server is out of work".

This message happens, when you have enabled GPU AND CPU-wu's in your personal settings but your app_info.xml does not contain infos for the cpu-tasks.
Uncheck 'Use CPU' and the message disappears.

I have not used a CPU on this project since the GPU applications were first introduced. I have "Use CPU" unchecked and receive the message whenever the server runs out of separation tasks.
