All my WU's for opencl are showing computation errors.
Revised 0.52. My Gpu is NVidia GTS 450. I have suspended any new work units for time being.
I also have a WU de_separation_86_1s_fix_1_54804_1297242936 which is on it's 3rd 200% run and still running. Currently over 37 hours. Other 2 wingmen are showing "inconclusive". I'm tempted to abort this one...Any suggetions?

Just sit tight on the inconclusive results. They will likely go through eventually as validated. Also, the separation work unit that has gone through 100% several times, also just let it run till completion. There were a bunch of incorrectly sized, too large WU's distributed which processed as you describe. I had one. Took 2 days and 66,000 seconds to crunch, but it did finish eventually and get validated with a credit of over 630.

It looks like you are running Windows with the .52 CUDA app. I thought that app was working correctly. Matt, goofed on the Linux .52 CUDA app but he fixed it quickly and released a .54 CUDA app which seems to be working on my Linux machine.

Keith,
Thanks for input. I'm letting this one run. If its still running at Easter I might abort it!

I am running Windows 7 with the .52 Cuda app. It's weird 'cos I had very few probs with the .50???

0.50 -> 0.52 correction of chunk size calculation for some NVIDIA cards.
0.52 -> 0.54 build fix for Linux (like mentioned above).

The progress bar problem is caused by oversized WUs and is only a problem of the progress bar calculation itself; additionally those oversized WUs seems to cause problems on some GPUs with smaller mem size.
Those very big WUs seems to be mostly gone by now; the last one I have seen in my queue was yesterday but I have 3 still in "Completed, validation inconclusive".

I posted something similar in a different thread a few minutes ago. I'm also running Win7 with a GTS450 and received a few errors with the stock 0.52 Open_CL app. I switched to the 0.24_CUDA optimized app and haven't had any errors since.

Thanks for info, I'll give it a try!

Incidentally, my de_separation_86_1s_fix_1_54804_1297242936 WU has cycled through 5 200%+ runs showing no time to completion. After nearly 60 hours it is now showing nearly 50% completion with "only" another 50 hours to go. like I'm on the home stretch now!

Switching to 0.24 cuda worked! All WU's are now running smoothly.

Glad to hear it worked for you also. Don't know if it's all the Fermi cards or only the GTS450 but they just don't like the stock app, or maybe the stock app doesn't like them. :-)

This problem looks like it has nothing to do with the GPU.
