If the project runs steady for another 24 hrs or so , it looks as though cncguru's 4*6970 machine will hit 1,000,000 RAC. Awesome! |

Well, I actually did make it according to Boincstats for a short time but then Murphy took over! Just have to get back up every time they slap us down! |

Good luck for the final push! How much RAC did you lose over last night? |

Oh, only about 36,000 LOL Thank You MW server! And since I'm near the top of the mathematical curve it's going to take awhile to climb back up! Oh well I hadn't planned on going anywhere! BUT I did already achieve 1 million RAC for a bit according to boincstats!! |

BUT I did already achieve 1 million RAC for a bit according to boincstats!! My guess is that this was BoincStats' reinvented RAC (dubbed BS-RAC), which is a moving average instead of the decaying average every project uses. Given a steady daily production after a previous period of lower production, normal RAC will approach the new daily figure asymptotically, whereas BS-RAC will actually reach the new figure after the predefined number-of-days-to-average have passed. |

The confirmation may take a few days as my BS daily update is away behind what I have got. Go away, I was asleep |

Well, I'm just going to have to keep crunchin!! Another day will come. And the yo-yo effect of the averages when pitted against a failure prone system can get disheartening. But at the end of the day regardless of how much credit, I know that I have crunched ALOT for the project and it's the most substantial one out here as far as I'm concerned. |

Thank you Moon! It does show over 1 mil in Milkyway( April fools day,LOL)) but we want to see it on the Top Hosts page right here in Milkyway. He's at 980+ and climbing so we hope for continued server stability and regardless SOMEDAY we will make it,lol! |

Yes and no and you can see a picture of it on my profile page and it is not hidden so you can also see my clocks. With the feeder stopped right now it will soon be moving backwards once again in RAC!!!!! |

All these new wu's are great but they will not by themselves help me or anyone else ever hit the 1 mil rac mark! The vaildator has to keep running without fail! Right now I have a bucketload of wu's yet I just lost 3K more in rac! So far this upgrade has cost my guy 60K rac, but hopefully we are onto something much better once they get the bugs out. |
