The Pendings list on the overall Cruncher Account Page still shows blank. Is that still (understandably) on the "work in progress" list, or an outstanding glitch from the server hassles ? Regards Zy |

It sounds like the server software was updated (as per Nbody post in News) and made into the current version which doesn't show pendings over-all - hop over to Seti to see some more discussion on this. It has to do with the claimed credit no longer being view-able, though I don't remember if that's the whole reason. I think any sites that implement the current or newer versions of the server code should just remove the link from the main account page... -Dave |

I think any sites that implement the current or newer versions of the server code should just remove the link from the main account page... sorry to bump an old thread, but i couldn't find any more explanation regarding the "pending credits" page issues in subsequent threads... ...so someone on the S@H forums made mention of the fact that "claimed/requested credit" is no longer used in calculating "actual/granted credit," and that it would be a waste of the scheduler's time and resources to continue calculating those values. hence the reason everyone's "pending credit" page is blank. of course you can still view your pending tasks by clicking on the tasks link and filtering out the pending tasks - its just that your pending credits are neither shown nor tallied for a total on this page. while this really doesn't decrease the amount of data on the server at any one time, i would think that it does cut back on the amount of data duplication on the server's web driven pages. ![]() |
