Chris Looking at that log .... BOINC is claiming that it cant see any NVidia card, and thats why the subsequent runs of WUs fail. Its also claiming you have more than one instance of BOINC running. First to resolve is number of BOINC instances running. Do you have two "copies" running? If you are not sure, go to task manager, click on the Image column to sort it, and look for "boinc.exe" - you should only find one listed. (just boinc.exe, there will be others spelt slightly differently). If there are two or more, reboot, take another look - before doing anything with apps/desktop - inside Task Manager and see if two are still running. If none, fine restart BOINC from menu, that should be that for numbers of running BOINC, post and we can move on to the other stuff. If two are there, go to control panel and uninstall BOINC. When uninstalled, install BOINC 6.12.26 being carefull NOT to install as a protected application. When thats done, and you are sure only one instance is running, check the top of BOINC messages, it should say what kind of Graphics card (if any) it sees. If it says one, NVidia, good to go, run a MW GPU WU and come back here with what happens. When you come back - start a new thread for your issue as your's is a user fault, and not to do with the thread topic - want avoid derailing the thread. Regards Zy |
