Running (0.05 CPUs + 1.00 ATI GPUs)

Running (0.05 CPUs + 1.00 ATI GPUs) I was curious as to why the CPU shows as .05 and whether it means anything. I have my preferences for the project to run the ATI GPU only (CPU is unchecked). Should I care, it is it taking a CPU and only partially using it and therefore wasting resources?
