There was an error in the crontab specifying the wrong file path. That's why the export wasn't getting done at regular intervals. It should be fixed now. Post back here if it isnt.

haha, thanks. after you said it wasnt working after i fixed it i tried a different method. Instead of 4 commands for 0, 6, 12, 18 hour. i used one command that happens every 6 hours.

This is really weird. The task is set to execute every 6 hours, however, say its last execution was 12:05. When the crontab asks it to execute at 6:00...6 hours has not yet elapsed so it skips a cycle. I don't really know how to fix this, maybe i could change when it last executes. I'll try to fix it. Sorry about that.

I think it should work now. I changed the log to show time last executed to 11:55 instead of 12:05.

This server is making me so mad. It consistently exceutes the cronjob late. I'll try and fix it again.

Ok just a thought here....until you can get the server to do what you want if you set it for every 3 hrs it will/should do it every 6....creative thinking?

haha actually i was going to do that. my thinking is that setting it for anything less than 6 will get it to execute every 6. i'm going to actually set it for 5 but Travis has ownership of the config file right now so he has to chmod the group permission before i can edit it.

EDIT: Just did it. Hopefully it will work.
