Travis, in cold Dakota you stay indoors evenings I suppose..

Will you please explaine what is this "Consecutive valid tasks" means ?

One of my pc's have done 83 MW tasks today (just powered on) and has 19 Consecutive valid tasks, however I have no error and no invalids as I now can see with 12 hours of file to view.

I would appreciate if You please explane this option we can look at.

Consecutive Valid Tasks is just that, it is how many consecutive tasks that have been validated by the server.

Since Milkyway sends either 1 or 2 tasks per work unit you sometimes have to wait for the other person to return the second task and that will slightly slow down the consecutive valid tasks count.

If you get an invalid result or error that number will drop to 0 and you will start over once again.

I agree with you, but that is what i said there where no invalid or errors in my list of tasks, but the CVT was less than the tasks that had ran.
So that makes no sence to me.

Those other tasks are still waiting for the other task to be returned by someone else and validate your result.

I have done 240 wu's today and almost all are vallidated (as we now can see) but I have only 22 CVT. That has nothing to do with waiting for wingman, as if a wu is validated and I get credit it is okay by 1, 2 or even 3 crunchers.

So for me it is still not clear what it means and what the purpose of it is. The one who made it need to explane it.

I find this still odd and still no answer from Travis ore someone else.
I see this on the bottom of My Results page:
State: All (1091) | In progress (24) | Pending (24) | Valid (1043) | Invalid (0) | Error (0)
Application: All (1091) | MilkyWay@Home (1091) | MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation (0)

and see this on My application details for a host:
Number of tasks completed 71619
Max tasks per day 68366
Number of tasks today 880
Consecutive valid tasks 273
Average processing rate 407.65031363783
Average turnaround time 0.01 days

With 1091 WU's, zero errors and zero invalids, the figure 273 CVT doesn't make sence to me.
