Hi ! I saw the Nbody job uses all CPU cores and I understand this is the way it should work. However I'd like to use less cores on it to let run another project at the same time. Can anyone give me an advice how it can be done ? I use the stock BOINC , and use only the CPU (6 cores) because my GPU doesn not support DP (ATI Radeon 5770) |

I found the solution reading a few more threads... Using optimized apps. does the job the way I want... I wish to thank to everyone who worked to make those apps. running and made them public ! |

Your GPU could do more-or-less worthwhile work at Collatz, PrimeGrid, Folding@Home (non-BOINC) or DNETC(*). MrS (*) Which I think is completely useless. Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
