I think the 'News' portion is too narrow. It makes it a tad harder to read.

It also seems that the 'User of the day' is stuck?

Ya i fixed the user of the day for tomorrow. But it appears that people using Internet Explorer are the only ones who experience this. All other browsers render the page correctly. It's supposed to be split evenly in the middle. I'll take a look into this.

When is the UotD supposed to change? It's still the same.

And bump the placement of 'About MW' below the picture.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

It actually is. The only browser i've seen render it wrong is IE. I'll put some more compatible code in there for that though.

If I may make a suggestion...

Would it be possible to have an always visible menu across the top of the site similar to Cosmo and Seti? I think that would make it easier to navigate around the site.

Good idea. I'll work on it.

The UotD has changed, the layout isn't the best for IE though, the side bar ends up being too narrow. It does look good in Netscape.

I think if the "About MilkyWay@home" was below the image it would look better and it would give the UOTD and News sections more space.

Good idea. I'll work on it.

The latest version of the message board software would help. Instead of a single link to the home page at the bottom, it now includes links to the home page, the message boards, and the account page. See here for an example:

It is the software, unless CPDN Beta, BOINC Alpha and Orbit@Home have also mimicked it. ;-)

You're right. It is in the profile.inc file. I didn't upgrade this file with the BOINC upgrade though because it contains a bunch of project specific stuff. I think that was the only thing that changed in it though, and it should be all set now.
