Thanks for the link. I totally forgot that it needed a screen or a dummy plug.
BTW the shop saw the error about the videocard. It was incorrectly linked. So now I get my money back and order 2 GTX-560TI-448 somewhere else for €265 (without shipping).

Thanks mikey.

No problem on the Dummy Plug, it is a common thing to forget, I would bet some company will be making them for 5 bucks soon! You also remember the cc_config.xml file telling Boinc to use ALL gpu's, right?

I too ordered a Geforce GTX-560-ti (Fermi) 1GB gpu, but I got mine, I am in the US and our prices are MUCH less than yours, for $175 after a $25 rebate! I got it from Newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162074

Here is a whole page of 560's:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&SrchInDesc=560%20fermi&Page=1&PageSize=20

And here is a link to those with 448 stream processors:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709&IsNodeId=1&srchInDesc=448&page=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&hisInDesc=560%20fermi&PageSize=20

No suggestions needed anymore. I ordered an ASRock Extreme4 Gen.3.

I am using an Asrock board and after buying it was told that it was not a good choice as they often have 'issues'. Mine went right together with NO PROBLEMS at all and the pc is running just fine! I hope you too have the same luck as I am!!

But I ordered 2x GTX-560TI-448 for €245 each. Those are better ones than the one you ordered. They have 448 CUDA cores and 1280 MB, yours has 384 CUDA cores and 1024 MB.

On the SETI forum there was also a guy that said they were no good, but there were a couple of other guys who didn't have any problems with it. I had to buy that one because I couldn't find a not too expensive board that could run 3 GPU's at 8-8-4 with a PCIe x1 TV-tuner card. Most boards can run 3 GPU's at 8-8-4 but as soon as you put another PCIe x1 card in, it becomes 8-8-1. ASRock has put an extra chip on the board so you have a couple of more lanes. If you check the Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 you'll see they even put on a Nvidia chip on that one for even more extra PCIe lanes (plus the chip they've also put on the ASRock Extreme4 Gen.3), so you could run 3 GPU's at 16-8-8 and still add another PCIe x1 card and you would still run your 3 GPU's at 16-8-8. I did find some ASUS boards but it wasn't really clear if they could do 8-8-4 too while adding an extra PCIe x1 card. And the cheapest one of those was way over €200 and I payed €170 for my ASRock Extreme4 Gen.3.
Besides my ASRock board I ordered (some prices include shipping):
Intel Core i7 2600K €279,-
Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600MHZ 2x4GB €47,-
2 x OCZ Vertex 3 S-ATA 3 60 GB €188,-
Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 1300W €270,-
Gigabyte GV-R695OC-1GD €240,-
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FTW €491,-
----------------------------------------------
Total cost: €1677,-

I'm expecting that it will arrive monday/tuesday. Some stuff definitly on tuesday.

Anthony.

At the store where I bought my Asrock the sales guy said he had heard Asus made Asrock, but he wasn't sure. And I am hoping my gpu comes on Tuesday as well!
