Thanks a lot... CPU tasks are available, but you preferences are not to accept them.. really? no GPU task for over 5 days now, collatz runs exclusively even if it has priority set to 0(backup). |

Tried resetting the collatz, and setting 'no new tasks'/. Okay I will give this a try..go into Boinc Manager and SUSPEND Collatz, not JUST No New Tasks but SUSPEND COLLATZ itself! In less than a minute that should force MW to request new work as the gpu is now out of work, as far as Boinc knows. If it doesn't then click Update to do it manually. Setting Collatz to No New Work and then not getting any new tasks to me means you have enough Collatz tasks for your cache to be full already and getting any new ones could put you in a High Priority crunching situation. As far as the cpu tasks message, it is just a small note reminding you that you have it set to not get any cpu tasks, nothing more than a status message. IGNORE IT! |

Thank you mikey for the idea, but it seems it doesn't work: I found the problem....Boinc version 7 is not supported here yet! It is still a Beta and not ready for prime time yet. |

Thanks a lot, it's up and running now, though I lost 4 hours of WCG crunching.. |

Thanks a lot, it's up and running now, though I lost 4 hours of WCG crunching.. Yeah I see you went back to the version 6 series. Eventually all projects WILL go to the version 7 series, just not yet. |

It might not be officially supported, but version 7.0.15 does work just fine here. I think his problem was actually the 7.0.8 version that he was running, it had some problems with work fetch. |

I'm running v7.0.11 here > http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?hostid=402527 Ste\/e I always knew you liked things FAST but that is kind of extreme isn't it, even for you?! Using version 7-11 which is the name of an in and out kind of fast mini store! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7-11 |

I had the no-GPU tasks issue for a day or so then:- 22/02/2012 18:02:58 | Milkyway@Home | Requesting new tasks for ATI GPU 22/02/2012 18:03:01 | Milkyway@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 19 new tasks (BTW, all tasks are milkyway version 82 - Yay*) HTH, Ray (*I thought that maybe someone was trying to wean me off AGP ... on this PC. Sadly this PC has ONLY an AGP slot so no joy there then.) |
