For the last two weeks I have been getting computational errors for all my MilkyWat@Home projects. I have the latest BOINC client (6.12.34 x64) running on a Win 7 Pro 64-bit system. Before this time period, all projects were completing error free. Is there a new client update that I'm unaware of? |

It is the drivers fault. You monitor going to sleep is also putting the GPU to sleep and erroring out all tasks. The 2 solutions are either go back to a driver before 295.xx or turn off monitor sleep and manually turn off your monitor. |

Over the last month I too got constantly computational errors for all my MilkyWat@Home projects allways just after about 11 secs of work. Before it worked fine (with my non-double-math GPU). I've no idea how to let my system behave as before. Anyone out there having a splendid idea? |

You are running MW as cpu only. Your errors are: "Failed to move file 'separation_checkpoint_tmp' to 'separation_checkpoint' (15100)" "Failed to move file 'nbody_checkpoint_tmp_2324' to 'nbody_checkpoint' (15100)" Writing a checkpoint fails with both mw apps. There is a known problem if you are running your projects folder on an USB drive for example. I think Matt added a workaround that should fix it in the next release. |
