Hi there,

It appears as the milkyway_separation_1.02_windows_x86_64_opencl_nvidia binary leaks the resources -- its memory consumption increases constantly by the rate of approx. 200kb/s, so at the end of a computation run it has about 1Gb memory allocated. This puts severe pressure on the machines -- other apps are running and sometimes I see them crashing or swapping severely due to physical memory shortage.

So here are the questions -- a) whether it is only me having such a problem and b) if not, can someone look into the issue.

My machine is a laptop running i5 CPU (4 cores) with 4Gb RAM, nvidia GT 520M GPU with 1Gb RAM, GPU driver version 295.73. Feel free to contact me if any other info is required.

Are you having troubles with the machines stopping crunching and then being forced to reboot after the screen goes into screen saver mode? if so that is the Nvidia driver and you need to downgrade to an earlier version, the version 295 drivers have this problem.

Nope, none of that; screensaver runs perfectly smooth. Just the cruncher constantly consuming memory.
