Hi. This is my first post.
I published new project on GitHub https://github.com/matszpk/native-boinc-for-android. This is fully fledged native BOINC client for Android and Boinc manager based on AndroBOINC.
I prepared applications for MilkyWay@Home, Primegrid and Enigma@Home (Polish project). Warning this version can produce WRONG result and should be used for testing (I had REAL problems with MilkyWay application).

I really encourage to testing it.

Do you know if there are any plans to release an Android version of Milkyway@Home for the official BOINC app (from https://boinc.berkeley.edu/ ) ?

Hi noderaser,

Thanks for providing the link. It seems like Milkyway@home does not have any applications for running on Andoid, however do you know if there are plans to introduce that in the future?

Thank you

Add another request for Android from me.
I ran the app from matszpk for some years with little or no problems. After the latest update they all fail (the MW apps, others still work). And Android 5 and newer requires a different version.

Looking on my devices, i can say, it's worth crunching these wu's:
http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/show_host_detail.php?hostid=591534 has crunched 238,764 credits, ID: 523949 has crunched 580,848 credits aso.

Maybe someone with the knowledge has time and interest to adapt the existing app, can be found on Github, see link in the first post here.

I'm really sorry that Native Boinc is no longer supported and updated, the gui is much nicer than the official BOINC. And it worked very well!

Hey everyone,

We do not currently have plans to support android on MilkyWay@home at this time.

Sorry for the disappointment,

Jake

Jake, thank you for the answer. I know that and I accept that, it's up to the project and the policy they have to decide which apps will be developed and which not.
My personal request points more to the small group of High level programmers like Raistmer, Crunch3r & Co who have proofed to be able to develop and maintain a stable app, which could be run as 'Anonyme Plattform (CPU)' or could be the first app using the internal gpu's. Some of them are able to run full-profile Open-CL 1.0.
I also would like to say thank you to Profile matszpk for some years of happy crunching with native boinc and some apps developed by him.
