I'm going to disable crunching of all "n-body" because 15% of them are ending up in error.

N-body on your Win7 system is running w/o errors.
It's on your WinXP system where the errors occur (exit code 1 (0x1)).

What could be the problem with the "XP" system!? Could I be running it too hard, it gets hot and then errors, or is that even a logical conclusion? The two systems are almost identical hardware-wise. They are both extremely stable (AFAIK)! The big difference is that the XP unit has a GTX 460 and the W7 a GTX 560. Ummm, that's not all now that I think about it. The XP is running an Intel Q6600 and the W7 a Q6700.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention though.

I don't see any tasks with errors on your system, but if you're running with the BOINC data dir on a FAT32 drive or something under XP there could be an error when writing checkpoints
