Ok, my main (60%) project is "updating" and hasn't provided WUs in a couple of months. No problem, I have 3 others that'll suck up cycles gladly (MilkyWay, SETI & MalariaControl). But a 5% project is now leading the pack in work complete and average!
Investigation shows no MW WUs at all. I've done the obvious, reboots, updates and resetting the project, even increased the share percentage and added n-body back in (after having problems last year with them) but still no WUs.

Running Win7 x64 with BOINC 7.0.28 on a 4 core AMD. Other projects are running fine and loving the "promotion" but would like some MW WUs, too.

I have the same issue: No work units for days. Is something amiss?

You have ~80 SETI WUs in progress, including some Astropulse units. Are you certain that Boinc is even asking for MW WUs?

I have been downloading the same two WU's for two days now with no luck. I am getting the following message when I try to update "not reporting or requesting tasks". My other Boinc projects are working normally,is this my problem or Milkways' ???

Try detaching and reattaching to MW. See if that helps

Also what is your project percentage here at MW? Boinc, the pc software, is designed to average things out over the LONG TERM. In fact it is often VERY POOR at doing it over the short term and in some cases can tell well over a month when trying to deal with multiple projects. Complicating things can be when projects don't have work when YOUR Boinc thinks it wants work from there and has to get work from someplace else instead. Seti is notorious for being 'down' a couple of days a week, so if YOUR Boinc asks Seti for work when it is down it may load up on Seti units next time it can, just so it doesn't happen again. That then throws all your other projects off as Seti is now clogging up the system!

I seem to be stuck on downloading the two stars.txt files - they end up double size and are stalled.....

Seems to be getting MW units here, as needed.

Have now received 4 WUs since last post. 3 are complete, the other needs 4 minutes to finish.
Additionally, ClimatePrediction (my main project) spewed out a couple of units and SETI is down again so MilkyWay is leading the pack again while only running 10% of the time. Hey, at least there is some work flowing.

In reference to a previous post concerning timing and BOINC getting greedy, I'm going to check all my settings concerning how much work to have on hand.

Use work_fetch_debug in cc_config, that should help a bit to understand what BOINC is doing.
