Are other people seeing this in their message logs? I am running BOINC 5.10.26 under windows XP. Milkyway appears to be immediately reporting tasks on completion. This is promptly causing my scheduler to contact the project scheduler for a couple of seconds new work despite already having about 100 tasks in the queue. Given the very short work units this means that I make contact every minute or so. If others are seeing this then it must be putting a strain on the project server. Dave.

The server's doing allright, the way our search runs the faster we get back results the more we can generate so reporting on completion is preferable for us. Soon we'll be upgrading to a more complex evaluation function so instead of work units taking a minute or two they should take around 10 minutes to a half hour - so hopefully that will help in that regard as well.
