I added the 0.82 applications as 1.02 with the ati14 plan class, so hopefully those who were not getting GPU workunits because they had ATI GPUs which didn't support opencl should be getting them now.

Let me know if this is working.

Yes it works. But I had no problem with 1.02 before Friday. My card supports OpenCL.

Seems to work on my 5870 and 7970 cards. But my 6970s do not get any work, sceduler always say: got 0 new tasks

Why isn't there any openCL app any more? They worked very well here, on all my cards.

Regards

Sebastian*

Edit: My 6970s got work now.

I'd still like to know why on a computer that is CPU ONLY I'm getting ATI GPU units that can't run on this computer. I never had a problem only getting CPU WU's until whatever it was you all did last week. I'm getting the ATI units and they are refusing to start now. No surprise since this gfx card has never been able to run WU's. And its a HD 6670 but reads as a HD5700.. I've even reset the project to no avail.

My other computer is running a HD 3870 with an appinfo file and hasn't missed a beat since all this mess started last week.

Just got loads of GPU tasks for HD3850 completing nicely. Thanks.

But no CPU tasks for the Gallatin, that is down to it's last WU received today before noon (UK summertime).

My other computer is running a HD 3870
Oooh - if only AGP (all refs came up with "spelling error" being actually HD3850.)

Is there a chance to increase the 'max # errors' for those tasks that got trashed by 'too many errors' caused by that old app?
This would give us additional tasks and a chance to get those (if successfully chrunched) still validated

I have a problem.
I download task for my GPU HD7850 but when it started , resources are: 0.834 CPU+1 ATI GPU) and my PC is slow down. Before these problems my resources was: 0.5 CPU (or 0.05 CPU i don't remember) + 1 ATI GPU and all work perfect. Where is the problem? The tasks are 1.02 now, not 0.82

Indeed the application changed from 0.82 to 1.02, but it still takes the "ati14" application (which doesn't work) and not the "opencl_amd_ati" version (which worked until last week) to compute the WUs. :(

I run a Radeon 4850 on WinXP(x86) with Catalyst 12.1 (last /w OpenCL support for WinXP).

Hope you can make it work again...after Folding@Home deprecated the support of Radeons below 5000 Series I switched my GPU to Milkyway and SETI. So far these two projects remain the only two reasonable ones for me and my R4850. Would be nice if this will not change too soon, so the GPU doesn't sit around with nothing to do.

Best wishes

I have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro on one machine and an nVidia Quadro FX 570M on another and am getting the GPU work units but they're failing after a few seconds as the card isn't very good at mathematics :-)
Example reports:
http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=497782274
http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=497789395

I've disabled receiving GPU units now - I'm not sure if you're able to prevent particular cards getting GPU work units but these cards certainly don't work!

I have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro on one machine...

Running 2xATI Radeon HD 7970, Catalyst-Driver-Version 13.5 (latest, newest Beta). Last 28 Days roundabout 7.000.000 Credits without ANY problems.

Now Boinc-manager reports: "Milkyway@home Notice from Server: Catalyst Driver Version is not OK for CAL application with this GPU".

Also: 0,972 cpu + 1 ATI GPU (device 0) and 0,972 cpu + 1 ATI GPU (device 1) in use but no WU´s for the rest of 6 CPU-kernels (Intel I7 2600K). Previously 0,05 cpu + 1 ATI GPU ....

Also: No WU´s for CPU (6 kernel Phenom II) in my second PC with GTX570 Nvidia and no WU´s for CPU (8 kernel i7 2600k) in my third PC with GTX570 Nvidia.
