Made a few more tweaks, how's this going? Let me know if anything isn't working that was working before we did the server code upgrade.

Hi Travis.

In lay-mans terms.

I have two laptops running at once 24 hrs a day.

The first is an emachines E525 which is computer number 239846 on your system.
The second a Compaq CQ57 which is number 494915 on your system.

I don't know what boards, etc are inside.

Both are set for applications
@Home - yes
@Nbody - no
@Seperation - yes

I don't bother with the middle one as we all had problems before.

For the last 36 hours neither laptop will download new work units no matter when I asked.

Earlier on the top laptop listed I altered it to take the Nbody units. A few came down but were over in about a minute and a couple were processing but staying at 0% completed so I went back to my previous preferences, and nothing would download.

I have just tried again to alter the preferences and it has sent me task number 498002914 which stated that it would take 35,000 hours to complete.
Actually at 27 mins it is 11% complete with 34,153 hours to go!

The problem is, like earlier and before (hence the alteration to the preferences) it is running on 2 cpu's stopping my other project from working.

Why can't either or both laptops now find they are unable to download the units under my preferences? Is there a problem at your end or mine? Is my problem unique or a general one?

Thanks for any help in this matter as I enjoy being a member of "The Team" since 29th November 2010.

got a similiar problem.

Since those changes my computer won't download any tasks. I'm kind of new and as of now my AMD GPU processed 33 complete/checked tasks. Also at some point it downloaded 4 tasks that were CPU only but I only want GPU tasks from this project (only 20% of one CPU core is allowed for this project, which is/was enough for those 33 tasks)

The good news, My 4850 is getting work again.

The bad news, in the process of trying to get work sent to the older CAL based ATI cards straightened out it appears there is no longer a CPU app configured for Winboxes.

Hi, in MilkyWay @ Home preferences I set

Use processor - yes
Use nVidia GPU - not

Yet I started downloading tasks for GPU and began disastrously decelerate computer. And these units are counted main processor CPU which results in an error.

Hi Travis,

I've had no CPU work now for about 36 hours.
Doing other stuff though till it gets sorted.
Good luck.

Speak for yourself. ;)

I still have zero CPU work units. Lots of AMD GPU work units, but ya, nothing for the CPU. Might this be resolved today?

Hi Travis,

see Number Crunching msgs 58868/58714/58732.

I have a E4700 dual core and a wee GPU that is set to receive no tasks.

I am now running solely S@H on both cores as I am receiving no CPU tasks from MW@H.

I am not complaining as I still have SETI to fall back on, I am just keeping you informed.

Thanks for all your hard work, moving is never easy.

John

Been working on the no CPU workunits issue, hoping to get some feedback from the boinc lists. I will keep everyone posted.
