The no new task message seems to be being sent when the server status states there is between 288 and 310 tasks available. It may be a coincidence but when Travis removed the 600 wus there were 288 available on the status board.

Very interesting and very odd too...thanks for pointing that out.

It didn't take long for me to be proven wrong about there being nothing more annoying then a computer sitting in idle...and for the others above who posted rather dismissively...I run multiple projects...and yes I do have backups to my backups and my complaint is not nearly as hollow as you think it is.

I have gone to my backup project 100%. I can't justify shoveling kilowatts into my quads while the milkdud server has to relearn the service routine several times a day. I know it's an alpha project, but I didn't spend alpha dollars for my hardware. I'll check in once in a while to see how the Aussies are taking advantage of their winter weather (vcore, vcore, vcore) . So far, they seem to be doing quite well. Congrats.

Yeah, I'm out again. But that's why you keep backup projects :)

Goes to show you how good technology has gotten that we run out of these WU's so fast!

I have recieved no new tasks for the last couple of hours and the server status still states 288 wu available The assimilator is not assimilating and the validator is very slow - Houston we have a problem!

I am switching to back up projects and will check back later

Thank you,
Although our official AA is over many team members seem to leave their computers on the last project until the next AA starts.

I'm looking into seeing why the assimilator has backed up -- not quite sure what's going on.

the assimilator is generating WUs, i just think that it's not pumping them out fast enough... hopefully after the purge is done things will be going faster.

Judging by what's sitting in pending (!!!) I must have had 256 in the last 6 hours or so. May sound like a lot but it's only 9 per core.

So there has been some work, but no credit yet.

If I recall, the AF Spring assault led to a higher total RAC than presently.

The bottleneck was hard disk space.

We did not encounter the current issues. :(

Rank Team / Production /Daily average
1 L'Alliance Francophone/ 10 732 691 / 671 667
2 BOINC@AUSTRALIA / 3 174 823 / 198 684
3 SETI.USA / 1 475 878 / 92 362

Edit: add stats

I have given a lot of time and energy to this project a little communication in return is a small payment.

perhaps Travis could let us know when he could be available UTC so we could not waste our own time as well as our cpu time
