This weekend, starting at 8am EST Friday, Saturday and Sunday, although the pre-race show starts at 7:30am EST on Sunday, will be the F1 guys running in Budapest, Hungary. They only run on paved roads, no ovals, but are faster then any other kind of racing on both the straights and the turns where they turn like slot cars, except the top fuel dragsters. Indy Cars CAN go faster on the straights, but in the corners the F1 cars will pass them by and have a faster lap time as a result. Friday morning is practice, Saturday is qualifying and Sunday is the actual race. All the exotic names are there, Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Lotus, Mercedes and of course the defending champion Red Bull. The cars do not refuel this year but do make multiple tire stops that take in the 2 to 3 second range to change all 4 tires. Last year they even did a 5 wheel change in the same amount of time as they changed the 100 thousand dollar steering wheel too!

WINNING!!!

I got a 2gb ATI 6970 card that has 1536 shaders on it. That is almost twice the shaders the 5770 had, 800, that it is replacing. It is also twice the onboard memory, so things should go MUCH faster!!

After almost 24 hours without internet I AM BACK and WINNING!!!

So what was the "pop" all about then? I thought you were using the American Midwest term "pop" meaning Coke or Pepsi or even shortening the word "sodapop". And I have tried the stuff straight up, I can't do that as it burns all the way down, that is not for me. And when I add water it just seems to be watered down fire, adding about two to three times as much ginger ale as alcohol though seems to be a near sweet spot for me and I can drink those all night long!! I do NOT buy the expensive stuff though, I buy the cheapest, or near cheapest, Canadian Boubon when I need some. I buy a case of 6 1/2 gallon, 1.75 liter, bottles and usually get one bottle free due to it being on sale. Right now I am drinking Harwood stuff which is 80 proof. When I am out for dinner with friends I drink Canadian Club but I do not drink that at home, except when my kids give it to me as a present!!

WINNING!!!

"Time for another pop" is an expression meaning to "have another go". No reference to a liquor or even moonshine.

Winning
