We are in the process of updating the server operating system. This process should begin Monday and continue through the first part of next week. I will keep posting details in here of the times scales as this task progresses. Thank you, Jeff Thompson |

Update: I was able to access account using Google Chrome Browser.. so sounds like a conflict with IE. Other projects I participate in, there is no issue. |

I use FireFox and when I click on your name it STILL takes around 15 seconds for your account to pop up. ps posting a message here takes almost as long AFTER I click OK!!!! |

Identical problem to Mikey...several second lag for login (this has been going on for a while now) and ~ 15 second delay in posting this message (yes, I posted to test and then edited to provide the time it took) |

Investigating further getting some lag but not in all functions. When I first click on a name it is very slow, it is also slow when posting a message, not the clicking to let me type it, but the clicking to post it. But the editing of it is fairly fast, so if I post a message it takes a bit, but if I then edit that same message, due to typos or whatever, that second process is pretty fast. It is slow everytime I go into my account, whether I do it now, or if I go to it then navigate away and try to page back to it, it always loads slow. It's kind of like it is loading new info everytime, not using cached info, and the info it is getting to create the page is from Timbuktu, while I am in the US. It's like some parts, or drives/directories, are too busy to talk to other parts, or drives/directories, and it must wait for a free moment to do it. Clicking to reply to a PM is fast, but then clicking to actually send a reply is slow too! |

I want to thank the admins. Looks like you fixed the slowness issues. Was the earlier reboot to fix this issue?

It looks like it the reboot along with a dns edit resolved the issue, we are still monitoring this. If it hasn't fixed everything it has improved a good portion of it. Jeff |
