Hey, sorry I haven't been here for a while. I was away for 5 days, home for 2, then 5 days again. With my wife AND daughter's cars going faulty I've been busy since I got back.

Then of course I just read all the posts...

Welcome back, I figured w*&k had dragged you away again. I hope the cars are okay now.

My daughter's car was nothing more than a loose battery terminal :)
Wife's car was a split radiator hose. Bought one at a reasonable price, got home and found it was the wrong one. My car has a different engine to what the guy thought. Got full refund for it, but the correct hose, which is only about 5cm/2inches longer, cost just over double the the other one!
But when I started car it ran very rough, like firing on only 2 of the 4 cylinders. Could barely make the car go! But my phone failed today, so the time spent re-enabling an old phone was the time I was going to look at the car :(

Woo Hoo and oh poop!! I am glad your daughters car was an easy fix, but your wifes car does seem a bit more troublesome, and now the phone problems!! Is the phone how they contact you for your next jobs? If so get it fixed first, it pays for all the other fixes.

The next morning I put the battery back in my S3 and was extremely happy to see it worked again! Although settings had reset, including the clock, but that's a minor inconvenience!

So definitely winning, although I have to look at the car tomorrow - er make that later today! It's 03:28 here :(
