Are you using a cc_config.xml file like this one to use all your gpu's? <cc_config> <options> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> <skip_cpu_benchmarks>1</skip_cpu_benchmarks> </options> </cc_config> It just tells Boinc to use all the gpu's it sees for crunching. Another 'problem' could be that you need to load the Cat software twice, once for each gpu. That is needed in some case, but not always. In my own dual gpu machines I always make one gpu work, then add in the 2nd one afterwards. Sometimes the original Cat software sees the 2nd gpu, and sometimes not, and it does not seem to matter if the 2nd gpu is the same make and model as the original one or not. |

Yep, I have <use_all_gpus> enabled. That problematic instance was crunching tasks, just the load/clock was not at max. I don't know what you mean with "load the Cat software twice", there's just one installation that recognizes both GPUs, however it reports one of them under Hardware Info as "disabled". ULPS is disabled. But anyway, CCC is not needed, since MSI AB did the job - unlock unofficial OC, Extend official OC limits and setting the type to "boost edition" manages the VRM VDDC quite well (~1.06V instead of the default 1.25V max). |

Interesting & extensive table, but no not really, it doesn't give specific times for specific credit WUs. I was going to see what times your doing 213.76 WUs in but you've hidden your computers :P. Fancy giving us your crunch times? :) Team AnandTech - SETI@H, DPAD, F@H, MW@H, A@H, LHC, POGS, R@H, Einstein@H, DHEP, WCG Main rig - Ryzen 5 3600, MSI B450 G.Pro C. Okay there is one other thing I know to try then, plug in a 2nd monitor to the 2nd gpu as you boot up the machine, or build yourself a "dummy plug". http://www.overclock.net/t/384733/the-30-second-dummy-plug Apparently when Windows first starts up it only uses the gpu's that have something plugged into them to save resources. I personally had to make several plugs but others have reported it isn't needed, so try it and see what works for you. |

Hi Mikey I am only using my cpu cores here, all my gpu's are elsewhere right now. |

Interesting, thanks for the hint. But currently it's running well, and since I'm a software guy, we have a rule - never touch a running thing ;-) |

You can manually edit the url in the address bar or just go to the thread link in my 1st post. Requirements for benchmark, validated 213.76 credit WUs only, average of 5 WU times*, dedicated CPU core for the GPU, please state clock speeds if overclocked (including factory o/cs) or state 'stock'. It would also be handy if you could state your BOINC & driver version & OS, incase it does make any odds. Oh & for the main benchmark only crunch 1 WU at a time per GPU otherwise it will massively increase WU time, naturally ;) (even if it does increase output). If you do normally crunch 2 WUs at a time then feel free to give those times too but tell me it's 2 at a time . *I chose 5 thinking this will give a good enough average, but if you disagree LMK & LMK why :) Team AnandTech - SETI@H, DPAD, F@H, MW@H, A@H, LHC, POGS, R@H, Einstein@H, DHEP, WCG Main rig - Ryzen 5 3600, MSI B450 G.Pro C. Wow, that's a lot of stats! :) Could you provide an average of the the 5 WU times? Aside from the last column I'm not sure what I'm looking at + it'll take sometime & I've got to east soon ;). I don't think it's a good idea to compare running TWO WUs/GPU. That very depends how these are 'synchronized'. Moreover, it's hard to tell what the other WU running concurrently was, which might affect the final times too. For me running 2 WUs/GPU ranges from 113 to 154 secs. If you'd still like to make a comparison, then an average from 5 results is absolutely insufficient, I'd say you'd need to average at least 100 results. |

Wow, that's a lot of stats! :) The numbers are: Run time (sec) and CPU time (sec) I provided both as I have no idea which you want. I didn't think you really wanted the last one but it was only one more pc so decided what the heck. |

Good question, I think it's the run time that's needed, can someone confirm/deny? Updated table & description.
