The whole site was down a while ago. I guess a serious system failure. |

Hint, hint to an Admin/Mod.... It would be quite courteous for an Admin to put a front page news post up on this or at least bury it back here in the message boards. I run a website myself and well know how crazy it can be when software or hardware goofs but a notice to the users should be the first response. They done good getting the web portal up but the lack of information on the portal front and center on the news items is less than an optimum response. |

Not getting anything here either except constant postponments for next retries for updates .... That's for returning completed workunits as well and picking up new ones... |

Yea we know that message mate, the point is we've had zero feedback from the admin. And you don't know when it'll be back up, your just guessing, though theirs a good chance you'll be right ;). I admit that I am bringing forward the same conversation in two post, so I imagine that within a short the moderator who surely will close one of the two, right thing also. However, the server have resumed their work, even if a warning notification would be useful, at least one user who brings forward more projects can manage work requests. Let me explain: in these 24 hours, the MW project was stopped and the work of other projects i have accumulated, so i am slowed down ... : -) But doesn't do anything and always volunteering then goes well the same, even if i preferred a more orderly situation in my pc. : -P |

This was not planned maintenance. We had a problem with the database. The server was restarted and the services brought back up. This happened yesterday. The feeder was running when I left yesterday. I was just informed it went back down so we restarted the service. I am going through the logs to see why it went back down. Jeff |

I ended up sending an email to one of the Professors who is running the program late last night, I hope that is what alerted the technicians who run the servers. I am glad to see the server is fully up and running today. THANK YOU! |
