I wonder Travis has some thing changed about the nature of work units.
the37370382 units have sped up makedly on the linux machines and slowed markedly on the Xp machines here?

I haven't noticed any speed up on my Linux box's, not running any Windoze box's so don't know about them. But I don't have any 37370382 Type Wu's either so ??? I'm scanning my Linux Box's now to see if I have any.

PS: I found 1 box with some 37370382 Type Wu's on it and they'll be processed shortly so I'll be able to tell more then ... :)

PS #2: Okay, I checked 2 Box's and the 37370382 Type Wu's on them seem to be running the same Time as the 606 & 607 Type Wu's, so why your seeing a speed up I don't know ... ???

Nate has been running searches which are using different sets of stars over different ranges of the sky, so they'll be a bit different i think.

Yeah, it's a different data set (this is real observational data) that is about half the size of what you guys are used to crunching. However, this should have very little effect on the timing of the run (ever so slightly faster, but it should be hardly noticeable). I can't see why this would cause the discrepancy in time, but I guess it could be that I'm using slightly different settings than Travis had.
