What kind of WUs are you crunching? CPU, GPU, MilkyWay@Home, MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation, Milkyway@Home Separation, Milkyway@Home Separation (Modified Fit) ? My WUs seem to work all. Have go no errors so far. [edit] I saw you are using ATI card. Mine is a Nvidia. Hope someone with an ATI card can verify your problem, or help you. |

Been crunching MW@home for a couple days. All work is getting verify errors. What gives? I see your using a 5800 or 5900, I bet you've only got the Milky way application ticked & that your using Cat drivers after 13.1. If so you'll need to roll back to 13.1 drivers to be able to crunch MW v1.02 WUs, you'll need to do a 'deep clean' of the drivers using say 'display driver uninstaller', for more info go here http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=3400 If you can't or don't want to roll back then you'll have to untick the Milkyway@home app & tick the Milkyway@Home Separation (Modified Fit). You can crunch those with anyway recent drivers AFAIK. If you don't want to crunch those WUs or don't want to untick the MW app then you can't use your GPU to crunch! MilkyWay@Home: no MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation: yes Milkyway@Home Separation: yes Milkyway@Home Separation (Modified Fit): yes I don't get any WUs with this. If I tick MW@Home, I get WUs, but they all fail with validation errors. Running Cat 10.11 Yo- |

Cat 10.11??! God their ancient! lol Try updating to 13.1 drivers. I don't really know much about the app info file (I must find out), so I can't help there, but I wouldn't be surprised if the driver update fixed that too. He's using Windows XP. Open CL support for XP is not included beyond Catalyst version 12.1 |

Tried updating to Cat 12.1, the results are the same, still failing with validation errors. I also don't understand the XML file not having usable versions for n-body and separation(modified fit). Yo- |

Post your app_info file. Did you write it using Notepad? Other editors insert invisible characters that will make it not work. |

Good call duck ;). I totally forgot about the XP driver thing! Btw do you know a good site/forum/thread where I can learn about app info files etc? This is odd, not finding cc_config.xml or app_info.xml files on this WinXP box. I see Colatz is back up and now I can't even run that project for some reason. Yo- |

Anyone noticed "Running Milkyway@home ATI GPU application version 0.23 (Win32, CAL 1.4) by Gipsel" That Brook app is long time history. You need openCL (I was using cc12.1 on XP) and and the app version 1.02 |

This is odd, not finding cc_config.xml or app_info.xml files on this WinXP box. Collatz made LOTS of changes, go to their home page and read when you need to do to make things work over there. As for the two files they are not standard Boinc files, so you may have to make your own thru Notepad. |

Okay, I'll check out the Colatz site for more info on that. My poor old XP box was running those for quite some time on the 5970 board. I was surprised they went down for so long. Anyway thanks again guys. If I can get Colatz running again on that box I'll forgo running MW on it as I'm running them on my box at home now anyway. I appreciate everyone's help. Yo- |
