Would someone please tell me how to remove separate preferences for work?Simply click on "Remove", which is located next to "Edit preferences", either in your computing preferences or MilkyWay@home preferences. If that doesn't help you, you must describe in more detail what you want to do.

Thanks once again, Link. That's exactly what I wanted to know. That button was hiding from me way at the bottom. |

Last update: I limited MilkyWay tasks to 5 (Max # of simultaneous MilkyWay@home tasks) X 4 Max # of threads for each MilkyWay@home task = 20 threads. So far, the other available 8 threads have been filled with WCG and/or Einstein tasks, and I get 88-100% CPU use. Same CPU use for all 28 threads with only WCG and/or Einstein tasks. (I have limited Einstein tasks to Gamma-ray pulsar search.) I'm happy with that. Once again, thanks for all your help, Link. Now if WCG would update, my BOINCstats signature image would be up to date. "It's always something" - Roseann Roseannadanna |
