Hi,

I just had an exceeded disk limit on one job, but I've already set BOINC and my computing preferences to use 100 GB of disk space, and I'm using only 6 GB...
So what's wrong in my config?

If you look at the WU pages for your errors, you will see that none are successfully processed by anybody. All have the message: Too many errors (may have bug), this means the work unit itself is the issue. It happens. There is nothing to worry about, your disc space allocation is fine.

Yes, it finished with errors before stating the disk size limit. Thanks.

A little off-topic, but what's going on with all these errors? I know one of the applications just updated recently, but is it really causing all these problems?

Hi SuperSluether,
this error is related to the configuration data of the WU/result send from server.
The configuration tells the boinc client how much disk space the calculation will need at most.
So the admins need to check the server settings for these type of WU/result.

Otherwise, the setting helps to identify bad results. And prevent full disks due writing to much data by a project.

This problem does not depend on the application.
