For those who have a R9 390 or 390X, and want to run several workunits at once, stay away from Windows 10 right now. I tried driver 16.10.1 hotfix, 16.7.2, and 16.9.2 hotfix. All drivers crash when one WU reaches 100% and all WUs get stuck where they are. One WU sometimes keeps running, when i run 8 WUs at once. I use the app_config.xml file to run WUs parallel on one GPU. And i will try the 390X on Win7 tomorrow, to see if it is Win10 related, what i think. Since the Windows 10 Version 1607 the problem occurs. Please post anyone if he experiences the same problems |

Hi Everyone, I have the same issue where BOINC Manager is letting me know : "11/12/2016 8:00:52 | Milkyway@Home | Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project. To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site." I tried resetting the project, tried resetting all the parameters on the website, reset everything on the local side. To no avail. I just removed MilkyWay from the projects and re-added it. Without success. I'm not running any scripts. I have the following system : Windows 10 Pro - ver 1607 - build 14393.479 Core i7-5930K 3.5 GHz 32 GB of RAM NVIDIA Titan Black -- 376.19 NVIDIA GTX 1070 -- 376.16 DirectX 12 I'm running other projects such as ClimatePrediction, Atlas and GPUGrid without issues. Just MilkyWay has this issue. I installed the latest GPU drivers from NVIDIA directly, avoiding the Win 10 drivers. Would you be able to help me please ? Many thanks in advance ! K. |
