Hello Everyone, Thank you all for your patience while the server was updated to allow for work unit bundling. This update involved a new client and server code. Since our Mac we use for builds died, we do not have a Mac version of the client built. I plan to build one this weekend when I get access to a different Mac computer. If you notice anything weird with validation, work unit generation, database stability, or client issues, etc. please report it here. I will work over the weekend to get them fixed if they show up. Happy Crunching, Jake |

NO FILE libwinpthread-1.dll +1 When i try to start the apps with "-?" as parameter. (I always try new apps before really letting them run) Maybe there are more required files missing... [edit] Adding the missing lib "libwinpthread-1.dll" from a mingw-w64 installation fixes this! Unfortunately i can't find a separate download for it on the sourceforge site... :/ [edit2] This fixes it only when running in a win console standalone. For BOINC there is some kind of softlink necessary to accomplish that. Aloha, Uli |

Jake Got new tasks...."Remaining (estimated)" on '7 new tasks' 01:10 to 02:11.....the old tasks (CPU) estimates were ~25 minutes. 11/11/2016 12:23:54 PM | Milkyway@Home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 11/11/2016 12:23:54 PM | Milkyway@Home | Reporting 2 completed tasks 11/11/2016 12:23:54 PM | Milkyway@Home | Requesting new tasks for CPU and AMD/ATI GPU 11/11/2016 12:24:32 PM | Milkyway@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 7 new tasks Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz [Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7] (8 processors) AMD Radeon HD 6900 series (Cayman) (2048MB) driver: 1.4.1848 OpenCL: 1.2 Microsoft Windows 7 Pro x64 Service Pack 1, (06.01.7601.00) |

The longer time is expected on CPU runs. I will look into recompiling the Windows apps so that error goes away. Sorry for that. Jake |

Try to statically link the lib into the executable, that should do it. There is some time left, until the new app starts here, so maybe, you can replace the app and let BOINC redownload it? :? Aloha, Uli |

Just released the new version for windows properly linked together. Statically linking with MinGW is weird. Sorry about that. The new version is 1.41 so you should see these running well. Jake |

Hi Peciak, Please check the version number on the application. If its 1.40 then you can still expect the error, if it is 1.41 then it should be working. Jake |

Peciak, I'll try again. Give me 15 minutes. [edit] Sorry about this, I typed something in wrong when I released 1.41 and it rereleased 1.40 as 1.41. I'll have a fix out in another couple minutes. [/edit] Jake |

(...) Statically linking with MinGW is weird. (...) Example: gcc osmconvert.c -O3 -static -lz -o osmconvert That's all for f. e. osmconvert.exe to statically link libz.a? :? So i think the right parameter for this executable is: ... -static -lwinpthread ... BTW: 1.41 is still not statically linked in [edit] Too late... ;) [edit2] For all, that already downloaded a lot of 1.40/1.41 WUs: I have put the missing DLL on the path on my system and restarted BOINC to get the new environment, now the missing DLL is found and the 1.40/1.41 apps are running! :) Aloha, Uli |

Hello Everyone, I just released a new version, 1.42. This should be correct now. Thank you Ulrich, I had this working for the last release. It must have gotten changed somewhere along the line (it got removed from the cmake file for some reason). Let me know if this newest version seems to be working for you all. Jake |

Peciak, Strange. I'll see if I can reproduce it and find out whats causing it. Might take me the rest of the night though. Jake |
