they have not even being sent to another pc to crunch yet! SOME are being validated but they are completed ones from a few days ago. When I check the Server Status page it says everything is working great....NOT!!!!

Hi, there is also problem with validating. I have few days "ratio" betwen valid and non conclusive nearly 60/50% and my rac falling fast.. i dont change nothing on my hw/soft configuration. before cca 90/10
And my total credit is same number over week ...??
There is really some big problem.

Yeah I've got a 50/50 ratio of validation inconclusive and valid aswell on my machines, and my RAC is dropping. Probably something's gone wrong on their end.

Something like this?;
 Validation inconclusive (1780) · Valid (1788) · Invalid (1) · Error (0)

I think in a short while the database runs out of space this way.....

Yup me too:
Validation inconclusive (333) · Valid (655) · Invalid (0) · Error (0)

I did suspend MW and am now crunching someplace else so I'm at least not making it worse, BUT this is also near the point where we lost a ton of work the last time the database had problems and THAT bothers me. I hope I can finish them before I have to abort them all!!! They are all on a 2 week deadline and the other project is only getting one unit at a time then returns it and gets another one so I have plenty of time.

I just went thru my list of inconclusives again and found the problem, more than a page full of "unsent" workunits!! So I have gotten a workunit, crunched it, returned it and it STILL hasn't been sent to another pc yet!!

I have reached over 1.5 million credits in Validation Inconclusive.
Could this be because a lot of people are not crunching over Xmas/New Year?

No, just click on a few of those inconclusive workunits you have crunched.
You see that it is not send to a wingman yet.....
Why......?.......we just don't know......but it is probably a bug serverside.

I've backed off totally returned to other projects for now, inconclusive resolving far too slowly. Still > 900 remain

Is this not a repeat of June/July? Seem to recall very similar happenings way back then with few wingmen getting sent out.

EXACTLY and why I too suspended MW AGAIN and am back on Collatz again!!

Validation inconclusive (249) · Valid (579) · Invalid (1) · Error (0)

In June/July they just cancelled HUNDREDS of my own workunits voiding ALL that work!! I would LOVE to bring more resources here, but just can't while they have these ongoing problems!!

My numbers are changing AND MOST of my completed workunits are now saying "in progress" for a 2nd computer!

Validation inconclusive (70) · Valid (404) · Invalid (0) · Error (0)

To me that's progress even though nothing has been posted anywhere about the problems!!

Mine are also decreasing.

I've had some stuck in pending since the middle of Dec and these also have gone

Validation pending (0) · Validation inconclusive (202) · Valid (1022) · Invalid (0) · Error (0)

I'll remain backed off for a while ( I've neglected Asteroids for too long anyway )

Has this problem is just affected us few on your thread?

No I think we are just the only ones complaining about it. It could be because most people don't bring the resources we have and a couple hundred isn't that big of a deal when it's normally about 100.

I'm here:
In progress (80) · Validation pending (0) · Validation inconclusive (134) · Valid (1113) · Invalid (1) · Error (0)

I have one gpu here and it's kinda sorta maintaining the numbers. All of my inconclusives are showing "in progress" so that's definitely a good thing. I'm still nervous though so the rest of my pc's are elsewhere, I'm doing gpugrid and ammicable numbers mostly with collatz as my backup project. Collatz is getting alot of my attention though as gpugrid seems to not have alot of work right now, I have collatz set at a zero resource share so it gets one unit, returns it, asks gpugrid for work and then crunches another collatz unit.

AND THE PROBLEMS ARE BACK AGAIN!!!

Validation inconclusive (208) · Valid (1109) · Invalid (1) · Error (0)

I now have dozens of unsent tasks AGAIN and until they even get sent out to another pc I have ZERO hope of reducing that "inconclusive" number!! I have now suspended MW and am crunching elsewhere!!

Now WHY isn't there a way for MW to do something BEFORE people say something about a problem? I mentioned 3 hours ago that I had a BUNCH of unsent and inconclusive tasks and BOOM things changed!! Something is not working correctly if it takes USERS to point out a problem with the system!! How long would it have been if no one said anything? Was MW working on the problem and it's all coincidental? Then maybe they should put something in the News section like 'hey found a problem that includes unsent tasks and inconclusives and am working on it, more later'.

Hi, I am a newbie: I started crunching just one week ago, more or less. I do have the same problem:
Validation inconclusive (172) · Valid (385) · Invalid (0)
I can find the following error by digging into some of the "validation inconclusive" tasks:
Error loading Lua script 'astronomy_parameters.txt': [string "number_parameters: 4..."]:1: '<name>' expected near '4'
Switching to Parameter File 'astronomy_parameters.txt'
Do you have any clue about what's going on? I am thinking about switching to some other project...
