I noticed that my Average Credit for Milkyway@home is 0 although my total credits are 2,303,306. I have been crunching for Milkyway since April 2010. I've been with Seti@home since 2006 (it was actually years before that but I couldn't remember my old e-mail address), and I've been with Universe@home and Asteroids@home (also did Orbit, but that shut down). My computer is actively crunching for the other three but not Milkway (or at least I think so). I have no tasks under my account for Milkyway@home, although I do under Seti@home, Universe@home and Asteroids@home. I also haven't received any e-mail newsletters from Rensselaer or Milkyway, i.e., fund raising, badges, etc., like I did in prior years. Did I miss doing a required update or something and continue on my merry way oblivious to the latest requirements necessary to continue to crunch for Milkyway? I want to continue to support you, so if I need to do something to get back on board, please let me know. I'm not very technically proficient, which is one reason I try to avoid these message boards in the first place. I also thought that I had uploaded or downloaded a Boinc app for my Android, but maybe I was just dreaming... Thanks |

Looking here your computers have not contacted this project since May 25 of last year. Your android was setup May 30 but never contacted this project so it never got any tasks. Any messages from this or any other project would show up in "messages" (BoincTasks) or tools - Event Log (boinc manager) I suspect with no activity since back in May you are off their frequent cruncher reward list. This is not like missing a payment and getting immediate reminders from the creditor. |

Surfelvis - On the BOINC Manager main page, click on the Projects tab. You should see Milkway listed. Make sure Milkyway does NOT show "No New Tasks". Highlight Milkway and click on "Update" on the left. Click on the Tools tab, then Event Log. Highlight the last 10 or 12 lines (all that show Milkyway and the current time). Paste them into a message in this thread. |
