There is no option to choose between separation runs and Nbody workunits in the project preferences page. How do I choose Nbody workunits? |

There is no option to choose between separation runs and Nbody workunits in the project preferences page. How do I choose Nbody workunits? I just noticed this myself and posted a new message in Number Crunching about the same issue. Looks like a lot of stuff went missing when they updated the server code.

Looks like you'll get N-body or single core mix like they do at Rosetta with mini or regular. Currently only control over N-body core count might be through app_config.xml. Something like (where X= number cores desired) <app_version> This is definitely more primitive control mechanisms than what BOINC server code has available (see LHC@home's preferences page). |
