Hi, my ip seems to be blocked by your server. is there any obvious reason for this? ip at the moment: 88.66.30.22 the server denies any connection with me. neither boinc nor firefox or internetexplorer can reach the server. But if i use an anonymiser-service to hide my ip (for example http://www.ipanonymiser.com/), firefox can reach the server. so, it seems something wrong with your reaction to my ip-address. what have i done wrong, and what can i do, to get off the blacklist? and no, reconnection to my serviceprovider to get another ip does not help. milkyway seems to block a lot of addresses from arcor (my service provider). |

your dns server might not be resolving our host name correctly. we do not block ip addresses. Dave Przybylo MilkyWay@home Developer Department of Computer Science Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute |

your dns server might not be resolving our host name correctly. we do not block ip addresses. i get 128.213.28.20 as the ip of milkyway. but this seems to be correct, as i get the same ip, when resolving milkyway on a pc, which can reach it. really strange. two days ago, everything worked fine. normally, if something on my side goes wrong, it should be more obvious, for example many pages not viewable, other boinc projects do not work likewise, or such things. but it seems to only effect milkyway as far as i can see until now. well, i play a bit with my configurations, perhaps something will happen. |

your dns server might not be resolving our host name correctly. we do not block ip addresses. I have had similar issues with BRaTS and it seems it my router's problem. After restarting it I usually can access the site there again. ;-) Funny enough it happens always unexpectedly: some times I don't have problems at all and then twice a week. But kicking the router always helps. *grin* Lovely greetings, Cori |

time seems to help at all problems: to my suprise, today everything works fine again. as far as i know, i have nothing changed since yesterday, so my pc seems to have strange selfrepairing power. Yeah :-) thanks all for help :) |
