Hello, This is about Science and there is no provision to delete accounts, BUT what you can do is change your user name to something else, something incomprehensible as a human name for example, and then randomly pick letters for your new password and then no one can associate the account with you anymore. For Science for every proof there must be a thing that did that proof, deleting your account means all the work you did would have to be redone. |

Hello, could you do the same for my account? I do not want to keep it. the easiest way to anonymize your data is to come up with some pc generated username and password and change your existing name and password to them |

Or to make clear that it is a "deleted" account and clean up as much as possible after yourself: Screen name (nickname): Deleted Account Country: None email adress: deleted.account.your_account_ID@milkyway.cs.rpi.edu (do we need to verify the adress?) And some random password. Than delete computing preferences for home/school/work if you have any (same for MilkyWay@home preferences), restore default computing preferences, reset community preferences, that's all I think. Of course it would be great if Milkyway could simply enable the delete account feature like many other projects did already, it's part of the BOINC server software.

I want to meet the people at RPI who run this project and have this user's wish met. MW@H is surprisingly not very known around campus. Everything stays But it still changes Ever so slightly Daily and nightly In little ways When everything stays...
