This 1 task that I'm currently working on is using all 4 cores and seems to be stuck on 20% completed and the time is still increasing. I had this same problem running another task that I had to abort and that's why I haven't been doing MW for awhile. Is there any diagnostics we can do to make sure I have everything setup right?

Click on the task in the running or Active Task list in Manager and then click Properties from the side window panel. You should see the time of the most recent checkpoint and also the Progress rate. As long as the checkpoint is less than your checkpoint interval from present time and the progress rate is not 0, then the task is still crunching. You could also look at the task in the OS's Task Manager and see how much cpu % it is using. If it is not zero, then it is actively crunching.

....well I don't know what I changed but the progress % is not stuck anymore and it seems to be crunching right along. I could still use some input on the proper settings and prefs to use. Thanks!

Did you change the defaults, on the website or in the Boinc Manager, to not suspend when the computer is 'in use', if not this can help if you don't mind a little lag. Changing them in the Boinc Manager changes them on that machine only while doing it on the website will do it globally to all your pc's.
