Hello guys,

I recently switched to Gridpool for computing, but now M@H show errors like "You are attached to this project twice".
Before I joined Gridpool I manually removed all projects from my BOINC client.
So my final way to solve this and I need help with: How can I delete my old useraccount here (linked to my eMailadress)?
I couln't find any "delete account" button.

Thanks

You can't because that would mean no link to the data you crunched and for Science that's a really bad thing. What you can do though is go into your old account and change the email and password to something that has nothing whatsoever to do with you personally I usually use something I find on the internet that belongs to a business or University then pick a REALLY REALLY hard password, maybe 20 letters and characters long, and only remember it long enough to type it in twice and then forget it. I have even typed gibberish on my keyboard and copied and pasted it in and that worked too. I had no clue what it was and while the account is still there for the Science no one can ever access it again.

The point is:
Why do I get the message in BOINC also I can only see one instance of M@H listed in the projects?
I mean, I still get WUs, but everytime my client asks for WUs I get the "hint" described in the first post.
So deleting my account whould have been my "final" solution :/

Because you started in Boinc and then added on an Account Manager, now you get messages in both. IMHO it would have far easier to just attach to the GRC Team at each Project they support that way Boinc still manages Boinc and YOU decide which Team and at what project you are a part of. As you are probably aware you can not earn GRC at every Boinc Project that there is, PrimeGrid is a shining example of a Project that turned them down a couple years ago. I'm guessing you have been to this page showing all the Projects GRC supports: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JWf8twPVIpOWWn1tg5358Xqh3oGa_mat1KCluYG1I8I/htmlview#gid=0

There are lots of notable Projects missing from that list, and yes you can ONLY get GridCoins if you crunch for one of THOSE PARTICULAR Projects that are on that list. MineCraft was added recently but right now is a gpu only Project.

I know, but this was not the point of discussion here!
Thanks anyway.
