I am currently running a work block that is over 869,000,000 seconds. I was wondering if this was some sort of mislabled block or an accidental dump of the entire backlog into one computer? Don't care to run it but if you are looking for some faster returns.... just saying.

Are you sure it was a GPU N-body WU? I don't think those exist.

If you go to the BOINC manager, click "view" and go to "advanced view". Then navigate to tasks, click on a task, go to "your tasks" in the bottom, and find the bad WU. There is probably a better way to do it though, maybe someone else can let you know (I usually dig around in the server backend). The WU may have expired by now, they don't live in the system for that long.

Nbody workunits can be very long if they try to run a simulation of a very dense dwarf galaxy. That is usually calculated ahead of time and then aborted if runtime is larger than some value (I think it's a few hours), but this one got through for some reason. It could also have been a different problem, it's hard to know without the WU.

I'm not able to find that workunit based on the name. Maybe you cut off some numbers from the end by mistake?

If you click "your tasks" on the BOINC manager it should take you to this website with links to all of your workunits, so you can share a link and not just a name.

Odd, it doesn't seem to be a very dense dwarf galaxy. I would just terminate the WU (maybe you have, but the server says it's still running) and let us know if any other weird ones show up. Thanks for letting us know.
