Can someone write a boinccmd script to abort tasks with _2 _3? It won't stop you from running the 1st or wingman of one of these but there's a good change the task is junk if its an _2 atm. So many right now.

I talked to my supervisor about the patch and we agreed that it wasn't a good idea. We will have to wait until we can attack the bug directly.

I'll go and wipe the bad size WUs now.

Things should be cleaned out now.

Invalids are starting to increase again, your little clean outs only seem to last 36 to 48 hours.
Any chance of scheduling this clean out as a matter of course rather than waiting for us to inform you of the inevitable.

My compyer fimished 4 tasks in the last 2 days and 2 of them are shown as 'validation error', 434905359 https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=434905359 and 434905374 https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=434905374 . One of them is still waiting for validation but I suspect it's going to be Error too since too many validation errors recently. I've been contributing to projects like this since 2000 and I'd never seen anything like this. I mean, 50% validation error? seriously?

I know my PC is a pretty old one with old operation system but this computer is working on WCG's OpenPandemics-Covid19 and Mapping Cancer Markers too. No error for both projects whatsoever. Is there any problem with my PC or any option I should change?

Hi Everyone,

I've flushed things out again. Seems like a WU conveniently got stuck immediately after I flushed them out this weekend. The script that kills available jobs with the wrong size is giving me trouble, so unfortunately it may take a little while for you to notice a drop in the number of invalid WUs. Maybe that problem will clear up once I am back at RPI.

Unfortunately, I don't anticipate getting around to this problem anytime soon. The good news is that these runs are (finally!) starting to converge, and I may be able to take them down and replace them with fresh runs soon (likw, within the next couple of months). Hopefully those fresh runs won't have this issue.
