I'm testing validation of the WUs for the new app right now. Let me know if anything is weird with granted credit. |

Also, what would be a good granted credit for the test WUs? I'm pretty sure it's way too high atm :P |

I beieve credit granted is the same ratio that has been used most recently. I get about 2.5 times. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Also, what would be a good granted credit for the test WUs? I'm pretty sure it's way too high atm :P Hehe, it is. Hits the credit limit again with 0.03 per sec and therefore 108 credits per hours. Not sure what to give elsewhere. Since the credits "should" go on line with the other credits my first suggestion is about 36 credits//hour now, is that good? ;-) So if the length at about 20 minutes stays, it would be nice to see a fixed level of 12 per WU. Also, what would be a good granted credit for the test WUs? I say it should be the same as standard wu's if they are doing the same work/time. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Also, what would be a good granted credit for the test WUs? I'm pretty sure it's way too high atm :P Are you sure about that? I'm getting 1.8 credits per hour consistently with a slightly optimized application. Slightly optimized here means compiling with SSE1-3 and optimizations enabled in GCC. Took about 20% of the crunching time off: 20 minutes down to 16.5 minutes. |

Well, looking at your results on this host and calculating the hour value (credits*3600 secs/crunch time in sec) I'm still getting about 108 per hour. Maybe you miscalculated them a bit. ;-) Member of BOINC@Heidelberg and ATA! My BOINCstats |

Also, what would be a good granted credit for the test WUs? I'm pretty sure it's way too high atm :P It´s your decision. I suggest: change nothing, 108 credits per hour per core for all kind of WUs. |

Are you sure about that? I'm getting 1.8 credits per hour consistently with a slightly optimized application. Thanks, I was. I figured it out before I checked back here. Take a look: 1.8*60=108. I calculated credits/minute. :P |
