Looks like it's back up and working again!I wondered why all the GPU fans started up while I was having my own disk trouble and had my head in a pile of computers. Trying to get an old dual Xeon to understand what an SSD is. |

Yeah, but...Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Apparently due to a degraded disk set - as in one drive busted under warranty and being sent back. Not sure why they can't have a spare sitting waiting. Lack of funds? We can donate, but they don't have it on the home page so not many know about it. It hasn't connected in two days. No error messages, just communications deferred on the project tab and it won't connect. No pending tasks. |

That does indicate some sort of issue at your end, I'm afraid. If other internet access from that machine seems normal a reboot may be in order. Acts like you have no DNS at the moment.

Look at the server status on the Project status page, most of the programs running MW@H are not running. There's plenty of tasks ready to send according to the project status, if the server programs were up and running. |

Looks like the system is removing valid work units as the list of valid work units that i have completed went down from over 4000 units down to less then 2000 work units now.Still cant get any new work units or upload completed work units for most of today |

Going to other projects in the meantime.It'll get fixed shortly, just leave Milkyway running, Boinc will upload/download/etc when it can. And add another project to keep it busy. Normally it's just the download that fails, looks like he's doing a mass clearout of unvalidated workunits so they can get data and we can get points. |

Yesterday morning I got some tasks on 3 clients but haven't been able to report them. The project should just shut down up/download and process the tasks if that can be done at all as nothing else is really being processed. |

The admin, Tom Donlon, has been pretty attentive to the project. He's just had some challenges thrown at him lately. Let's be patient and let him work through the issues. There are lots of other projects to work on in the meantime. |
