The system status shows most things not running. The system has been so good at giving me WUs to work on lately that it surprised me. What's up? |

I have 12 cores, 10 are fast asleep, 2 others are in deep slumber.... I'm surprised it has been down this long. That's a heck of a lot of Tflops to be left on the table! |

Setup a zero resource share project and Boinc will never leave cores idle, it will change to the zero resource share project only when MW is out of work and start getting MW work again when the Server has them to send out again. TNGrid is still doing Covid research http://gene.disi.unitn.it/test/index.php and SiDock is still doing Covid stuff as well https://www.sidock.si/sidock/about.php there's also Universe if you prefer a little bit bigger mapping project and Einstein which is looking for all kinds of stuff right now. |

Milky Way is my backup project to WCG and Einstein is my backup to the backup :-). I'm really looking forward to WCG being back up next week. I see that Milky Way is back up. It has accepted my finished WUs. I'm still waiting to get some new WUs. edit to say that I now have separation WUs. This is good. wonder why it was all shut down?? wonder if there will be any issues from all the N-body WUs ?? |

Right now I'm pretty keen on just MW, but will look into Universe and Einstein. Civid does not interest me. |

There's Moo and Cosmology if you like space stuff, there's Climate Prediction if you run Linux or Mac's, there's also LHC, NFS and Number Fields, there's QuChemPedia. there's Ramanujan, there's Rake Search, there's Wanless, there's Yafu, Yoyo, there's SRBase inshort there are ALOT of projects for you to keep your cpu cores busy and each and every one would LOVE to your cores crunching for them!! And I didn't even mention Prime Grid which has ALOT of sub projects that all need cpu cores looking to prove that there really are Prime Numbers where the math says there should be. |

I am interested in space stuff, after working 15 years in the space program. Will add MOO and Cosmology to the other two. Thanks. |

No problem, the key is always to 'keep on crunching'. |

And the feeder isn't running again... why? |

And the feeder isn't running again... why? Tom was looking into why the "Waiting for validation" numbers were going through the roof, and the "feeder not running" message has been showing up ever since he posted about it in the "Validation inconclusive" thread... Hopefully he's still working on it... Cheers - Al. |

Started things back up again. I purposefully watched the server status for ~10 min to make sure that things weren't coming down... then I worked through the day and turns out they must have crashed as soon as I stopped watching. Well, anyways, things are up again. |
