Just lost a reply that took a long time to write (closed a tab but the wrong one).

Okay, I have the graph for CPU Usage and took a screen shot but I see no way to attach it. Should someone wish to check this laptop remotely I'd just need a heads up as to when (PDT). The system is still increasing the remaining time every few WUs. I check it three or four times a day and it shows an increasing remaining time at least once but often more. I abort the WU when I see that. This RYZEN is the major problem. The I7 has the issue every few days to a week or more. I shut both down at night. I thought I had Milky set to immediately notify me of additions to the thread by email but apparently that's just BOINC. I'll try to get back here more often.

You can't attach files to this forum, you'd have to upload it to imgur, dropbox, etc., then link to it.

To get email notifications, click your name top right, near log out, then click community preferences, then immediately by email, then update at the bottom.

I see an "unhandled exception" in one of your aborted tasks, perhaps someone knows what that means? https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=384969265

You are running BOTH cpu and gpu tasks on the same laptop while using the AMD cpu and AMD gpu at the same time, does your machine have a separate gpu or is it part of the cpu like alot of laptops? If it's part of the cpu try not running the gpu tasks and see if your cpu tasks stop extending their running times as it could be you are over stressing that cpu.

Also what are your temperatures? If they're too high, try blowing sharply into the air intake to clear dust.
