For example GTX 1080 ranks much higher than GTX 1080ti and there are many unfamiliar models. |

For example GTX 1080 ranks much higher than GTX 1080ti and there are many unfamiliar models. It doesn't take into effect that the person with the 1080Ti could be running multiple tasks at once, also the newer Server side software doesn't get the card version from one of the brands properly, I've forgotten which brand but one works and one doesn't. BOTH brands crunch just fine but the Boinc Server software doesn't 'see' the version, ie 6700, 580 etc for AMD or 3050, 3790 for Nvidia. |

This is one of the reasons that this thread was created...https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=3551 (New Benchmark Thread - times wanted for any hardware, CPU or GPU, old or new!) |

Getting a kick out of a teammate who deployed a single Titan V card here running Separation tasks at 8X concurrency and still getting 3.5 seconds per task. That card isn't showing up in the Top GPU cards list yet either. Should go into the New Benchmark Thread for a target to shoot for. |
