The only stupid question is the one not asked.

How do I delete Milkyway and then re-add it? Because the website says I need to do just that.

It's done through BOINC. The View mode is either Simple or Advanced.
If you're using Simple, make sure Milkyway is the highlighted project.
Click Project Commands, then Delete.
If you're using Advanced View, Select the Project tab, Highlight Milkyway and click the Delete button on the left.

To readd the project, that is under Tools at the top in both views.
You will need to have your project email address (username) and password, but I think even that can be emailed to you.

This was the result of some server upgrade that went awry, but has settled out now.

I would be far easier to just change your account name and password to random letters and numbers that you don't write down, that way no one can get into your account and you don't need an Admins help.
