I just restarted doing this project after taking a break from it. I got credit for about a week then kept getting zero credits a day. When I check Boinc the project keeps getting delisted from the projects I have going. I re-add it and it starts to run and the next day I have no credit and the project is off my project list again. Looking at my stats here it shows 225 work units "completed validation inclusive" These are all on n-body simulation units. How do I fix this? |

I'll start with your last question first...validation inconclusive is MilkyWay's way of saying you are waiting on your wingman to finish their task before you get your credits. They generated ALOT of tasks by accident a week ago and all wingman tasks go to the end of the list so give it another week or so and most/all of your tasks should start getting the credits they are owed. As for why it keeps getting delisted...are you adding the project manually or selecting it from the list in the Boinc Manager under Tools, add project? Because they went thru a couple of name changes and if you use the one on the list it's the new Official name. |

I pick it from the Boinc manager list. tools, add project- MW@home. login successfully, it shows up (project successfully added message), downloads a packet and works on it. The next day I only show Einstein again on my project list. |

Are you using BAM or any other account manager? If not, check the event log, the answer is likely there, your BOINC client won't remove Milkyway without leaving any trace in the log. |

Well, exactly as I thought, you are attached to an account manager and that has no Milkyway in it's settings so it's deleting it. Detach from it and it will no longer delete Milkyway (or add Milkyway to it, but to manage your 3 computers it's completely pointless to use an account manager in most cases). |

yeah when you mentioned that I saw I somewhere along the line got on a manager, I don't remember doing it. Now i just need to have them catch up on the credits. |
