This has been happening for the last few weeks, I have 22 tasks in this state.

Is there an issue or ??

See thread "Tasks Completed, but validation tasks remain Unsent". Mid January, there was a large number of new workunits generated on the server by accident. We are currently processing the first tasks of all of these workunits, and this will still take a while. When this is done, second tasks of the workunits will be sent out. As results are coming in from the second tasks, the server will be able to validate the first tasks. The large majority of them will be proven valid then, only a small number will remain inconclusive and require at least a third result for final decision whether or not they are valid.

I for one have >14,000 inconclusive results waiting in the wings, and counting. :-)

I am also having a problem with my work units that were submitted showing their status as 'Completed, validation inconclusive' and the credit status as pending. I currently have fifteen units that are showing their status like this. Can anyone explain to me what is going on here? Is this an issue with the server or the work units themselves? Just wondering when this issue will be cleared up and credit granted...

Nobody is getting any credit since nobody has yet had a wingman result assigned to their pending tasks.

The estimate is that around mid-month they will finally get through all the created _0 tasks over-issued and finally be able to generate the wingman _1 results and then everyone's pending results will finally be validated and they will get credit.

The wait is over! We are receiving _1 (and occasionally higher) tasks now, and workunits are being validated again. :-)

Yes! And I have nothing but -01's running. All is good.

Progress is slow but good. Total WU available continues to drop as does the number of tasks inconclusive. The progress is slow but everything is moving the correct directions.

I got today one created 10 Feb 2024, 23:09:49 UTC, so about two days left until your task will be sent out. 185316 N-Body tasks left on the server, so we are "nearly" back to normal. Of course N-Body with Orbit Fitting could have been released a bit later, preferably when the pile of regular N-Body would be close to 1000 or at least below 50k, but well, it is what it is.

They go at the end of the queue so if you look at the number of tasks to send out you can guess how long it will take, it's ALOT less than it was a month ago though!!
